Akyaka Gokova

Akyaka is famous for it’s fish restaurants. There are some restaurants on Kadin Azmak ( small river) and also there are some on the sea side. Really Akyaka gives opportunity to have a holiday for different budgets. If you go to Marmaris, let’s say, you can never find something cheap over there to eat out. Even a cup of turkish coffee costs 5 liras and more! Situation is not the same in Akyaka. Sure fish restaurants are a bit more expensive as compare to other fast food, but it’s natural, and it is the same all over the world. But, if you are looking for something more affordabe to eat out i can recommend you some places.

Kordon Restaurant.

Kordon restaurant is situated just in front of Koron apart hotel. So if you look at the sea it is on the left side, on the KAdin Azmak river. It is a fish restaurant with good food and wonderful river view. This restaurant is just on the river so while eating you can enjoy ducks swimming, through them some bread, they will eat it in a second.

Pizza.

On the main street, where Akyaka Belediyesi is, walk down to the beach there is a pizza cafe. Cheap prices and tasty food- me mylesf i order pizza sometimes.

Cheap fish place.

If you go to the beach from the main street there will be two roads, one to the right and one directly to the beach where car parking and open air cinema is. There are some fisher boats parked on the river that flows to the sea. Just in front of these boats there are some tables and from fishers you can order fish in bred. Its very cheap and tasty, fish is always fresh.

Open air market.

If you do not want to have a breakfast in a restaurant you can have in at the market place. If you go from the beach you should go up to the school and then turn left. Market itself are opened on Wednesdays and sell fruits, vegs. But there some places in front of it were you can have you breakfast and drink tea.
