Akyaka Gokova

Akyaka as a holiday village has a lot of nice hotels and apartments to stay in. What to choose? A hotel or an apart? It depends on you and your family. If you want to have a half board holiday i can advice you hotels like Yucelen hotel, Ottoman residence hotel, Gokova hotel.

Yucelen hotel.

Yucelen hotel is situated on the sea side, just in front of the sandy beach of Akyaka. May be that is why it is very popular. Last year it had some reconstruction and now it is even newer and bigger than before. Yucelen hotel has also aparts and bungalos for rent. If you want to book a room in Yucelen it is adviced to do it in advance cause Yucelen hotel works with big travel companies and it’s difficult to find a free room there.

Gokova hotel.

Gokova hotel is a small but very cosy hotel at the entrance of Akyaka from upper road with a nice pool and a bar. It will take you some minutes to get to the sea, but its only a plus- its worth walking enjoying beautiful views of Akyaka village.

Ottoman residence hotel.

This hotel is situated on Kadin Azmak ( small river that passes through Akyaka and were most popular fish restaurants are). You will need to have a small walk to reach the sea but not much, so it is also an ideal place for a calm holiday. The thing is that ottoman residence hotel do not accept children under 12 years in summer. So you are guaranteed that your holiday will be calm, without noise and loud voices.

If you are coming with children i can recommend you aparts. The biggest apart hotels in Akyaka are Yesil apart and Kordon Apart. Both of them are new, with good pool and restaurants in front of them. Every apart has its kitchen so you can cook yourself. Why it is an advantage? When you stay in apart, you pay only for room, but not for persons so it cheap and affordable holiday. Especially if you buy food on open air market that takes place in Akyaka on Wednesday and in Gokova on Saturday. Sure in this case you’ll have to cook yourself but if you do not, you can have wonderful meal outside like breakfast in Yagmur restaurant and dinner in one of fish restaurants that are very popular.
