Akyaka Gokova

Akyaka is famous for it’s boat trips to Sedir ( Kleopatra ) Island and to other islands of Gokova gulf. If you come to Akyaka for the first time it’s a must to take a boat trip.

Boat tours.

If you want to buy a boat trip on your own you should go directly to marina in the morning at 9 am. At 10 am boats start there trip. Fisrt you buy a ticket and then find you boat and wait for 10 am. During boat trip you will have a supper and opportunity to drink something from the bar ( but for money) .Supper is free and is included in your boat trip.

Most common trip is trip to Sesir island. Its the longers trip but at the same time is most popular and most breathtaking. Boat will stop for a couple of times giving you opportunity to swim and to have a rest on hidden sandy beaches of Gokova gulf.

Fishing tours.

When you are in Akyaka you can also have a fishing tour if you prefer to fish in the sea rather than from a sea shore. Some fishers make fishing tours on their boats. Usually a fishing tour lasts for about 4 hours, each boat can take up to 6 person. You can order a fishing tour from Volkan Av company, as I have mentioned before, it’ sa fishing and hunting shop at Akyaka, which is situated at the entrance of Akyka, near Shock market, you can buy all  fishing stuff there, food for fish, swimming stuff and order a boat trip from them.
